Who are we?
Bird On a Spade ornaments are made from recycled vintage garden tools.
These are beautiful, unique ornaments with history.
Our birds perch on vintage garden tools which have been sympathetically restored. The wood has been treated for woodworm, wood preserver applied and oiled. The steel is cleaned and waxed before the arrival of the bird. Our birds are resin wrens with steel feet.
Based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, we have a passion for gardening, wildlife and creating new beauty from old forgotten garden tools.

A robin flew into our garden and landed on our spade. Bird On A Spade, and collecting vintage garden ornaments began right there! How picturesque and calm, an image we'd all love to look out on everyday - and now we can!
